Luke 1:34-35
“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”
Mary, as devout and as pure as she appeared to be, asks the same question Zechariah did, as devout and pure as he appeared to be. And it’s the same question we ask:
Lord, how are you going to pull this off?
The answer is always the same, through the Spirit of God and the power of God.
Angels always say that.
