Luke 2:39-40
When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth. And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.
What Mary and Joseph did wasn’t easy, but they did it by the book. They obeyed the Lord in some tough circumstances, from the beginning of the story until the end.
“And the child grew and became strong and was filled with wisdom.” He must have had good parents. Parents who took care of him and instructed him and pointed him in the right direction.
In the end, it was already His direction. To do the work of His Father in Heaven. But Mary and Joseph did what they were supposed to do.
