I was using AI to develop a course in which my students write prompts for AI. I’ve been asking AI questions for several days, developing syllabi and rubrics for assessment in a design thinking course and a multimedia reporting course.
When I was done, I asked AI to evaluate my prompts using the rubric we had developed together. Apparently, it has forgiven me for the workshop I gave last semester on why AI still writes bad poetry. Here’s what it said about my prompts.

1. Relevance and Clarity of AI Prompts (40 points total)

You effectively integrate the AI responses into your learning process, asking follow-up questions that show you are using the information to enhance your understanding and improve your teaching strategies.
Score: 9-10 points (Excellent)
4. Quality of Follow-Up Questions (10 points total)
Evaluation:
Your follow-up questions have been highly relevant, often diving deeper into the topics discussed. These questions help explore the subject further and contribute to the ongoing conversation.
