The matrix mix-up

Dale Buss, at the Wall Street Journal, tells why his kids won’t be seeing Matrix Reloaded. And why my younger sons probably wouldn’t have if the producers had been more up front about the content.

I liked the first one a lot, and I’ve been trying to tell myself that I liked the second one too. But everything was too long. The fight scenes. The sex scene. It was a weak story. The first one made you think. This one makes you wonder when it is going to be over. In a good play Act II makes you care about the characters.

I don’t care any more.
