I'm praying that you will soon realize that these blessings are all a gift. And that understanding what grace looks like, you will grow to know what it is.
The sobering reality of Lent is that we have sinned. Our righteousness amounts to nothing. We are unclean and undone. We can't even give up a doughnut when it comes right down to it.
Sin often begins with something good, like a juicy steak or even a kiss. But our principles must master our passions or we fail to know and do the will of God.
