As I studied His Word this past year, the Lord gently showed me why we were here. He had and still has work for us to do. More importantly, I realized He wanted my heart.
At 14 mom drove a cab barefoot along 5th Avenue. At 18 she was the swamp buggy queen, and got to kiss the winning driver. For 50 years she was a pastor’s wife, teaching Sunday School to teens and women and leaving secret notes in their Bibles.
I am my mother’s child. She liked windows and mirrors—just the illusion of space, as we didn’t often have big houses. I also share her claustrophobia; my favorite part of spring is the open windows.
I would tell you all the features of my new day bag, as described on the tag, but they are in Chinese. The actual words on the bag, however, are in English. Sort of.
