the way the world (should) end
A common table is a great equalizer. It says we sit at the same level and eat the same food, sharing the same need and enjoying the same grace. And Christian hospitality requires us to do that with people less like ourselves.

As a kid I might have wished I had found the perfect shark eye (moon snail) along the beach, or had finished a conversation with a girl I met on the pier without sounding like an idiot. And nothing has changed but my list.
